Forethought uses encryption to help protect your information. Keep your sign-in details and recovery information in a safe place. You may need them if you lose or replace your device.

What is a VaultKeeper?

A VaultKeeper is someone you choose to receive a saved report of your information after your death. VaultKeepers are included with both Basic and Premium accounts.

How is sharing different from having a VaultKeeper?

VaultKeepers help you prepare for after your death. Sharing lets another Forethought user help with your information while you’re living—for example, when you need help managing a parent’s affairs.

Sharing is included with Premium.

Why would I choose Premium?

Basic includes VaultKeepers. Premium includes VaultKeepers plus sharing with other Forethought users, more storage for documents and photos, and personal video messages.
